Jeremy Richard Godfrey

Mr Jeremy Godfrey is the Government Chief Information Officer of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. He is responsible to formulate policies and strategies and oversee implementation of programmes and initiatives to drive the further development of information technology in Hong Kong.
Mr Godfrey has had an extensive career in the ICT sector, serving in senior positions in the telecommunications industry and as a partner in an international management and technology consulting firm. Before this, he served as a civil servant in the United Kingdom.
Mr Godfrey graduated from Cambridge University in 1984. He served as private secretary to the Secretary of State of the Department of Trade and Industry in the United Kingdom Government between 1987 and 1989.
In 1989, Mr Godfrey took up a management appointment with the Cable & Wireless Group. From 1989 to 1990, he worked for Hongkong Telecom on the regulatory strategies for the liberalisation of telecommunications in Hong Kong. From 1990 to 1994, he worked in the United Kingdom for other business under the Cable & Wireless Group. From 1995 to 1998, he returned to Hongkong Telecom, serving first as Director of Strategic Planning and then as Director of Marketing.
From 1998 to 2007, Mr Godfrey was a partner with PA Consulting Group in Hong Kong. He led strategy, e-business, IT and business change projects for the public sector and for private sector clients in the telecommunications, transportation, utilities and entertainment industries in Hong Kong and various South and East Asian economies.
Since November 2007 and prior to his acceptance of the appointment from the HKSAR Government as the Government Chief Information Officer, Mr Godfrey worked as an independent consultant advising clients on strategic issues and business change projects. |

Nicholas Kwan is responsible for a team of 14 economists and research professionals covering East Asia’s macro economic development. His team is based in eight different locations in Asia, including Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore and Jakarta.
Nick was formerly with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), where he specialised in macro-economic and policy research, with special responsibility for policy issues related to international and regional organisations like the Bank for International Settlement (BIS), and Executives’ Meeting of East Asia-Pacific Central Banks (EMEAP).
Prior to the seven years in HKMA, Nick was the Asia/Pacific Regional Chief Economist of Merrill Lynch, instrumental to the issuance of China’s first global bond, the first H and B shares, and the initial ranking of Merrill’s economics team in the Institutional Investor Asian poll.
Nick is an economics graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with an MBA from Warwick University in the UK and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. |

Michael Leung was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Bank of America (Asia) in March 2000. In this capacity, he manages the Bank's IT function in its entirety, including business systems design and development, project management, as well as production systems support and data center operations. In addition, Mr Leung is also in charge of operations planning, product services and corporate administration departments of the Bank.
Mr Leung has over 28 years' local and international experience in information technology, specializing in the banking and finance industry. Before joining Bank of America (Asia), he was a senior manager at Standard Chartered Bank, overseeing service delivery systems as well as acquisition & merger activities for its Consumer Banking division in the Asia Pacific region. Previously, Mr Leung was the head of the Business Research and Development department at the Dao Heng Bank, responsible for developing new business models and distribution channels for retail banking products and services.
Prior to his banking assignments, Mr Leung was a managing consultant at IBM Consulting Group and Price Waterhouse Management Consulting Services in Hong Kong and Australia. Immediately after his post-graduate study in Holland, Mr Leung spent nearly 10 years with the Dutch Philips Telecommunications and Data Systems, involving in the development and pre-sales support of banking terminals and transactions processing systems.
Mr Leung holds a Master degree in Engineering from The Netherlands Universities Foundation and a Bachelor of Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In his over two decades of professional career, Mr Leung has attended executive training at London Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, an honor diploma from Graduate School of Retail Bank Management of University of Virginia, among others. As Vice President and Chief Information Officer Asia Pacific (APAC), Linda Brigance is responsible for all software development as well as the support and network infrastructure for this region.
Ms. Brigance joined Federal Express Corporation on March 14, 1983 as a programmer in the Information and Telecommunications division. In 1990, she became manager of International Customer Automation group and moved to Brussels in 1992 to start up the European development group. In 1996 she moved to Hong Kong to start up the Asian development group for the Customer Technology group. She was promoted in 1998 to Managing Director of the Information Technology Division in Singapore and in 1999 to Vice President/CIO for the Asia Pacific Region. In that role, she and her staff were responsible for the development and deployment of the all APAC systems as well as the network infrastructure and the Singapore Data Center. A native of Tennessee, Ms Brigance earned her A.S. in Computer Information Systems from State Technical Institute in Memphis. Prior to NetScreen, he was director of business development at Bell Labs Research.
Serrano also co-founded and served as CEO for Network Tools. He served in senior positions in sales, marketing and product management at start-up SynOptics Communications/Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel). He was vice president at the HSBC banking corporation as well as serving in senior management roles at JP Morgan Bank and Citibank. Serrano spent nine years with the US Air Force and was responsible for the planning, design, installation and deployment of large-scale communication systems, including satellite systems, fiber optics, voice and data systems, cryptographic systems and wireless communications. He is a member and participant in the IEEE and IETF forums. |

Avi Raju

Avi Raju has over 14 years experience working in the IT industry including over 9 years with the Savills group of companies in the Asia Pacific region. He began his career working in implementation of MIS systems for manufacturing and service related industries.
He started with the Savills Group of companies working for Byvan (property management arm of Savills Australia) being involved in development and maintenance of various in-house IT systems.
He transferred to the Savills Hong Kong office in November 2001 and became involved in analysing, designing and developing Savills MIS systems for the Savills group of companies in the Asia Pacific region.
In February 2004, he was promoted to the role of Director and is currently responsible for overseeing all MIS projects in the Asian region.

Jenny Fong

Jenny Fong was appointed Managing Director of SingTel Hong Kong in May 2006.
She oversees the sales and operations functions of SingTel Hong Kong, one of the key SingTel Global Offices worldwide. Her other key responsibilities include positioning SingTel as the choice communications provider for enterprises in North Asia and gateway partner into Greater China.
Jenny joined SingTel Hong Kong in 1997 and has held positions of Sales Manager, Carrier Business Manager and Director of Business Development. She is one of the pioneers of SingTel Hong Kong and has seen the development and deregulation of the telecommunications market in Hong Kong.
Jenny graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a double major in Economics and Political Science. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. |

Sunny W K Lee

Mr Sunny W K Lee joined The Hong Kong Jockey Club as Executive Director, Information Technology in July 2006. Mr Lee heads a team of over 430 IT professionals, to provide innovative technology solutions that contribute significantly to the Club's mission and strategic objectives.
Mr Lee has extensive IT experience gained in both Hong Kong and overseas. Prior to joining the Jockey Club, he spent 10 years at the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) where he was an Executive Committee Member and held a number of key positions at the Company, including Chief Information Officer of the Group and Chief Executive Officer of two strategic diversification businesses, iCare.com Limited and Towngas Telecommunications Company Limited.
Between 1990 to 1996, Mr Lee was Vice President and Systems Director of the Bank of America in Hong Kong, where he played a key role in building up IT capabilities to support the Bank!|s business expansion in Asia. He has also previously held key IT positions in the financial, management consulting and manufacturing industries in the USA.
Mr Lee takes time to serve in many high level advisory committees in the academic, professional and community arena, and is currently President of the Hong Kong Computer Society as well as a member of the Hong Kong SAR Digital 21 Advisory Committee. In 1999, he was a recipient of Hong Kong!|s Ten Outstanding Young Digi Persons Award for his contributions to IT. He has received two CIO Awards from CIO Asia Magazine, the first in 2002 and again in 2007 for the Club!|s Veterinary Management Information System. Mr Lee is also a recipient of the 2007 China Top CIO Award, awarded by CEOCIO China Magazine and IDC (China). |
