Mr. Daniel Lai, BBS, JP Government Chief Information Officer The Government of Hong Kong SAR
Daniel Lai is one of the most experienced Information Technology professional in Hong Kong with significant experience in managing IT developments and operations, as well as in professional developments and IT in community. Prior to joining the Government in January 2012, he was the Head of Information Technology at MTR Corporation Ltd. between 1999-2011 and held various senior IT managerial positions with The Hong Kong Jockey Club in Hong Kong and Australia. He is a Distinguished Fellow and was the President of Hong Kong Computer Society and Chairman of Hong Kong CIO Board.

Mr Lai is a graduate of Hong Kong Technical College, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Griffith University with a Master in Technology Management. He has led many innovative and large scale IT projects and managed large computer installations. He has developed and implemented IT governance, programme and project management, and outsourcing frameworks; and led the very successful IT integration for the merger between MTRC and KCRC.
Mr Lai contributed significantly in promoting and developing the application of IT in Hong Kong and the region, he has held many positions in public services and educational institutions. In recognition of his contribution to the development and promotion of IT in business and community, he was awarded Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2004. Mr. Demeter was assigned in 1997 as the first US Treasury, Criminal Investigation Division Attache and Special Agent in Charge of the Asia Pacific Region at the US Consulate in Hong Kong, prior to his retirement in September 2001, covering responsibility for the Asia/Pacific region. In his role as Attache Mr. Demeter served as a US Delegate to the OECD Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Asia Pacific Group (APG) on Money Laundering and was also involved in various projects for the Agency for International Development (AID) relating to financial and related crimes, throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Mr. Demeter is a Certified Instructor and has instructed in Basic and Advanced Criminal Investigation techniques for financial and other crimes and management of criminal investigations at the Federal Law Enforcement Academy in the US and at the International Law Enforcement Academy in Bangkok, Thailand.
Mr. Demeter has been with Citigroup Investigations since October 2001 and is currently the Regional Director of Investigations where he manages investigations of internal and external financial crimes, ethics and related employee misconduct violations.

Dr. Frank Law Chief Inspector and Head of Cyber Security Hong Kong Police Force
Frank has been working in the Hong Kong Police Force since 1998, and has been involved in technology crime related policing since 2001. Frank is now the head of Cyber Security Centre for the Hong Kong Police Force, in charge of three teams concerning the areas of cyber attack responses. Outside of the Hong Kong Police Force, he is currently the President of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) Asia Pacific Chapter.

In his role, Ho was responsible for developing sales and marketing strategy, expending regional channel community and managing customer satisfaction in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Before joining McAfee, Ho was at TippingPoint and Fortinet as Managing Director, mainly managing the business units within Hong Kong and Macau. Ho also served as Country Manager of NetApp for five years.
Ho received a Bachelor degree in Science and Business with honors, from University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada.
