Mr Victor Lam joined the Hong Kong Government as an Analyst/Programmer in August 1985, immediately after his graduation from the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Computer Studies.

Being an information technology (IT) professional, Mr Lam has provided IT service to various government departments, including Housing Department, Customs and Excise Department, the former Trade Department and the former Information Technology Services Department. He was the project manager of the Air Cargo Clearance System in preparation for the opening of the Hong Kong International Airport at Chek Lap Kok in 1997-98. In 1998-2001, he completed a review on the “.hk” domain name administration regime and facilitated the establishment of the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation. He assumed the position of Chief Systems Manager (Human Resources) of the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer in 2002-05 to take forward a series of cultural and organisational change programmes of the Office. He took up the Assistant Government Chief Information Officer position in 2006 to help government departments transform their businesses through IT. Currently he is Acting Government Chief Information Officer responsible for developing and implementing the Digital 21 Strategy, the blueprint for the development of information and communications technology in Hong Kong.

Harrison Lung, Associate Partner, Business Technology Office, McKinsey & Company.

Harrison Lung is an Associate Partner in the Hong Kong Office of McKinsey and Company. Harrison works with C level executives in Asia, particularly CIOs and CTOs, in the areas of IT and network. His recent McKinsey experience mainly focuses on the telecom sector in Asian emerging markets, particularly in the operations and technology domains, leading projects in areas like IT strategy and organization, architecture, application development and maintenance to infrastructure, including cyber and network security.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Mr. Lung worked in New York City at the global management and technology consulting firm Accenture, where he advised numerous Fortune 500 and Global 2000 clients in a broad range of industries, with engagements ranging from telecommunications and media, pharmaceuticals, utilities, chemical products and public service, particularly pertaining to mobile technology strategy and solution execution.

Before Accenture, Harrison held several assignments in Toronto, Canada. He was an IT architect at Bell Mobility (Canada) and Sprint Canada (now part of Rogers Communications).

Mr. Lung received his MBA degree from Cornell University and is a graduate of the University of Waterloo's Bachelor of Applied Science program (Computer Engineering, minor in Management Science). He is also a licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the Province of Ontario (Canada)

Peter Bullock is a Partner with international law firm Pinsent Masons. Peter’s background is in risk management and litigation, for clients in the IT and telecommunications sectors. He edits CCH's Internet section of its China Intellectual Property service, and advises on data flows and licensing across Greater China. He has acted in numerous disputes for hardware manufacturers, suppliers of software systems, government bodies using IT systems and in relation to outsourcing.

He leads the firm's Technology & Dispute Resolution practice in Asia Pacific. His team also deals with IT mergers and acquisitions, data privacy, licensing, intellectual property enforcement and trade marks.

Geoff has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T), having held senior roles or consulting extensively across a number of industry sectors - notably in Telecommunications, Petroleum, IT, Finance, Defence, Retail and Hospitality. Always having a strong technology focus, Geoff has held traditional IT&T staff roles as well as broader R&D, strategic marketing and corporate planning positions.

His career has taken him from Australia, to the UK, the USA and several locations in Asia. Today he is a well-respected technology advisor to several of Asia’s largest companies, especially in the areas of IT strategy, security and governance. He continues, as he has since 1997, to work extensively with the Jardine Matheson Group, one of world’s oldest and largest diversified business groups with some 400,000 colleagues, principally in Asia.

Geoff is an Australian, married with two adult children and lives in Hong Kong. He holds a MBA with a Finance major from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers [MIEEE], a Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society [MACS(Snr)] and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors [FAICD].

Kenneth is a Partner in PwC’s Risk Assurance practice and the Cyber Security Lead for China and Hong Kong. Kenneth has extensive experience working in Australia, Hong Kong and mainland China and advising clients on cyber security matters in the Asia Pacific region, and in providing a wide range of cyber security and technology risk advisory services ranging IT and security strategy, governance, policy and procedures development, security assessment and penetration testing of application systems and technology infrastructure, business continuity and incident response management, etc., to multinational and local organisations and regulators. Kenneth is currently Secretary and Vice President of ISACA (China Hong Kong Chapter), an executive committee member of HKPKI Forum and an executive committee member of the Hong Kong Cloud Standards Alliance.

Fuller has over 15 years of experience in information security management for financial service industry across Asian countries and leads the IT risk function of AIA and JPMorgan. He received his MBA and Master in Information Systems Management from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Yann Chatreau is the Head of IT & Risk Management for Asia Pacific at Allen & Overy. Over the years, Yann has been based in Europe, the United States and Asia, thus giving him a truly global insight on technology trends, adoption and practices. Yann has an extensive background in Risk Management and Information Security, has successfully implemented the ISO 27001 Security Standard in a number of organisations and has given several interviews to professional publications such as Infosecurity Magazine (UK).

Anna Gamvros is a member of the Firm's Asia Pacific IT & Communications steering committee. She advises clients on privacy and data protection, IT contracts and outsourcing, telecommunications and Internet regulatory issues. Ms. Gamvros is co-author to Internet Law in Hong Kong published by Sweet & Maxwell and is recognised in Legal 500 and Chambers Asia for her expertise in the area of technology and data protection. She sits on the Hong Kong Government Working Group on the Provision and Use of Cloud Services and is admitted as solicitor in Queensland, Australia and Hong Kong.


Ms. Gamvros' practice focuses on issues in the IT and communications sectors. She advises on licensing and technology agreements, outsourcing, privacy and data protection, and telecommunications and Internet regulatory issues.

With over 12 years as a management consultant within the Security, Privacy and Risk domain, Dominic has worked primarily in the UK and Europe before moving to his most recent post with experience across a number of industry sectors for global brands. His experience includes roles from IT and IS programme management positions to compliance and risk management roles. Prior to joining HKEx Dominic led Deloitte’s Secure Mobile Computing proposition in the UK and managed a global mobility project for a leading energy organization enabling 30K Smartphones and Tablets in over 50 countries. Dominic has presented on mobile related topics at the InfoSec Summit Europe as well as the Mobile World Congress and holds CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and ISO27001 Lead Auditor certifications.

Epsilon is a cyber security veteran with over 20 years’ experience. Epsilon has recently joined Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd (HKEx) as Head of Security Architecture. Before joining HKEx, he led the enterprise security architecture in Cathay Pacific Airways, and prior to that he was the Head of Security Practice in Cisco Systems.

Epsilon is an expert in cryptography, secure payment protocols, data center security & cloud security, as well as a seasoned leader in security architecture, security practice and running security operations centers. He holds bachelor and master degrees in Computer Science. He is serving ISACA China Hong Kong Chapter as Research Director, and is the Vice-Chairman of Cloud Security Alliance Hong Kong Macau Chapter.

Mr. Christoph Ganswindt, as Executive Director and member of the Executive Board, is responsible for leading the Information Technology & Sustainability Division to provide innovative technology solutions that contribute significantly to the Club’s mission and strategic objectives. Since the main income of the Hong Kong Jockey Club is based on its wagering business, Information Technology plays the key role for the Club’s core business together with its world leading Horse Racing operation.

Christoph has over 20 years of experience in general Management, Computer Science, Organization-, Process- and Business development.

Simon Hildenbrand is a leader in the design and secure implementation of new IT systems and information security programs. He has worked extensively at several major global banking organizations including Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas and UBS providing leadership and strategy to implement new IT security governance programs, advising on the design effectiveness of multi-million dollar IT projects and improving industry leading information security and incident response programs. His work ensures organizations and their people manage their information and IT risk against security breaches.

With more than 20 years of experience in the networking industry, CF is a veteran in designing, implementing, and supporting highly available network systems and solutions. In this current role with Arbor Networks, apart from actively involved in the global research projects, CF works closely with customers in the Asia Pacific region to develop and optimize approaches for their network security solution to ensure optimal deployment and best customer satisfaction.

Prior to joining Arbor Networks, CF had held different regional positions in pre- and post-sales roles for various large core routing and switching vendors. His expertise lies mainly in the areas of Internet routing technology, network threat detection and network visibility solutions.

CF is based in Hong Kong and holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Poly University in Hong Kong.

Jack Poon is the Regional Director for CyberArk, with responsibilities spanning the Greater China region, which includes Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Macau.

With a wealth of experience from his years in Cisco, Tandberg, F5, HDS, and more recently, Palo Alto Networks, Jack is a cyber-security expert who provides counsel and helps companies secure their enterprises against external and insider threats.

Prior to joining the security business, Jack was in the telecommunication industry, working in HK Telephone, Hutchison AT&T and BT.

Morpheus Cheung is the Technical Consultant of e-Cop Hong Kong & Macau. He leads and manages Solution Consulting, and is responsible for managing overall business & delivery operations.

Morpheus has more than 10 years of experience in IT security, networking technology & Professional services. He brings with him a wide scope of knowledge and experience in SOC operations & SIEM technology. He has been working in different leading MSSPs in providing Managed Security Solution, DDoS solutions, and 24x7 Information Security Surveillance Services.

Morpheus is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).

Steve Ledzian brings 20 years of IT experience to FireEye in his role as Systems Engineering Director for Asia, which includes Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and India.

Steve leads a team of seasoned security experts responsible for providing high level pre sales support and guidance to FireEye account teams, customers and partners. Previous to FireEye, Steve managed the Security Specialist SE team for Cisco Systems in Asia, which he joined through Cisco's acquisition of IronPort. Prior to relocating to Asia he worked in Silicon Valley startups for over 10 years.

Steve has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University.

With over a 16 years of IT security experience, Kelvin Wee has been involved with the consultancy and implementation of end-to-end security solutions in the area of security applications and technologies such as identity management systems (IDM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Digital Rights Management (DRM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).

Kelvin is currently responsible for defining the long term strategy as well as the technical partnerships for the HP ArcSight solutions in the Asia Pacific and Japan region. Prior to this, Kelvin was responsible for the technical collaboration between HP and its strategic alliance partners on the HP Security Intelligence and Risk Management Platform consisting of the market-leading products from ArcSight, Atalla, Fortify and TippingPoint across the Asia Pacific and Japan region.

David has been with Kaspersky Lab since 2004. In his role as Senior Technology Consultant David presented information on malware and other IT threats at exhibitions and events, and provided comment to both broadcast and print media. He also provided information on Kaspersky Lab products and technologies. He was promoted to his current position in 2008. David has a particular interest in the malware ecosystem, ID theft, and Kaspersky Lab technologies, and he conceived and developed the company’s Malware Defence Workshop.

David has worked in the anti-virus industry since 1990 in a variety of roles. Prior to joining Kaspersky Lab David worked as Systems Engineer, Product Manager and Product Marketing Manager at McAfee; and before that as Technical Support Manager and Senior Technology Consultant at Dr Solomon’s Software.

Mr. Yampel has been involved with the IT industry for over 25 years. He joined ObserveIT in 2009 and is responsible both for direct sales as well as channel management. During his career Amir served both in technical and business development and sales positions including IDF, where he served as a system analyst and a development team leader in various projects. Prior to that he was at Magic Software where he held various positions including sales manager and director of channels. Mr. Yampel also held leadership positions at Babylon, where he helped build international sales to over $5M annually and he spent time at Repliweb and Amdocs where he served as sale director.

Bill Taylor, Senior Vice President and General Manager of LogRhythm Asia Pacific and Japan, is responsible for working with the APJ Security community on LogRhythm’s award-winning Security Intelligence Platform, allowing them to detect and respond to breaches and the most sophisticated cyber threats faster and with greater accuracy than ever before. Prior to LogRhythm, Bill headed up regional businesses for Acronis and Symantec. At Symantec, Bill led both the security and storage divisions, and spoke regularly on security risks and vulnerabilities. Bill also sits on a regional Cyber Security council which provides advisory to both government and commercial entities, addressing current and future cyber-security challenges.

Anwar McEntee is the Regional Manager, North Asia at Rapid7. Based in Hong Kong, Anwar has over 15 years’ experience in IT security, having held a number of senior roles at Inroads, Proof point, and IGT prior to joining Rapid7. In his current role, Anwar is focussed on helping Rapid7’s growing customer base in region collect, contextualize and analyse the security data they need to dramatically reduce threat exposure and detect compromise in real time.

Tony Lee is a consultant at Trend Micro - the global market leader in Internet content security. He is responsible for the provision of technical advice and solution consultation for large scale IT users and key channel partners in Hong Kong.

Tony has been working in the IT industry for nearly 10 years and has extensive experiences in strategic planning and requirements analysis. As a technology evangelist for Trend Micro, he is a high profile speaker for major industry events in the region.

Tony is a graduate of the Hong Kong Baptist University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science.

With 14 years of experience, Philip Poon is a Certified Public Accountant who specialized in IT audit, governance, and risk management.

He is currently serving in Workday to address cross-country compliance issues in Data Privacy and Cloud Technology for APAC customers.

Prior to that, Philip was an experience auditor and assisted numerous multi-national companies to comply with the SOX framework and other listing rules.

Apart from that, he also has hands-on experience building IT governance framework and implementing security solutions in compliant to SSAE 16 and ISO 27001.

Philip holds ACCA, CPA, CISA, CISSP and a Master degree in Marketing & Management from Middlesex University Business School.
